Discover the Comfort of Scleral Lenses

Scleral lenses are a revolutionary type of contact lens designed to cover a larger portion of the eye than conventional contacts. They are made of gas-permeable material and uniquely designed to rest comfortably on the sclera, the white part of the eye. Unlike traditional contact lenses, scleral lenses don’t make direct contact with the cornea, making them an ideal solution for various eye conditions.

Scleral lenses are highly customizable and can be used to treat various eye conditions, including astigmatism, keratoconus, and irregular corneas. They are also an excellent option for people with corneal transplants and severe dry eye syndrome.

The design of scleral lenses provides a protective space above the cornea, which can help to reduce irritation and discomfort caused by other types of contact lenses. They are also less likely to move around on the eye, providing more stable vision than standard lenses.

What are the Advantages of Scleral Lenses

Their larger diameter ensures they stay securely in place, significantly reducing the risk of accidental dislodgment.

These lenses create a protective vault over the cornea, thus eliminating any direct contact and enhancing comfort.

Custom-crafted based on precise eye measurements, scleral lenses offer a tailor-made fit, ensuring optimal comfort and excellent visual quality.

Scleral lenses contain a tear-filled reservoir between the lens and the cornea to provide optimal hydration and optical clarity. This soothing environment promotes ocular healing and superior comfort for easy all-day wear.

Who Can Benefit from Scleral Lenses?

Scleral lenses are especially beneficial for:

High prescriptions are no longer a problem, as scleral lenses provide clear and sharp vision, regardless of the degree of nearsightedness, farsightedness, or astigmatism.
